Residents of quarter No. 233 in the rural district of Manas in the Kara-Suu region of the Osh province have complained about the condition of the road.

According to them, during rain and snow, the potholes on the road fill with water, making movement difficult.

As local residents say, in addition to the road problem, there is no public transport in the quarter. People have to walk about one kilometer to reach the main highway.

One resident reported that Nurkamila Jumayev Street in quarter No. 233 is in particularly poor condition, and local authorities are only filling it with gravel.

He stated that due to the poor condition of the road, route No. 105, which previously entered the quarter, has stopped servicing it.
The deputy head of the Manas rural administration, Tynibek Toktosunov, reported that a bridge has already been built in the quarter and the rural health post (FAP) has been repaired, and the issue with the transformer will be resolved soon. “Recently, we built a bridge for this village. We were asked to repair the FAP — the FAP has been repaired. Work on the transformer is being carried out in cooperation with the Kara-Suu Electric Network, and a solution is already on the way. We plan to asphalt the road next year,” he informed.

It was also revealed that quarter No. 223 previously belonged to the city of Osh, but after the administrative-territorial reform, it was included in the Manas rural administration.
