At the border veterinary control point "Torugart," located in the Naryn region, more than 21 tons (21,800 kilograms) of beef were stopped, which was being attempted to be imported from Pakistan through China. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Management, Ecology, and Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Veterinary control inspectors conducting the cargo inspection discovered violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements established by the Eurasian Economic Union. In particular, it was found that the accompanying documents did not meet the necessary standards, and there were also violations of meat transportation regulations.

As a result of the inspection, return acts were drawn up, and the cargo was sent back through the "Torugart" checkpoint.
