“The cost of contracts at universities has already increased. Now they have found a new way to earn money. If a student gets sick, they will be forced to pay. The wealthy can cover these expenses, but for the poor, it will become a real problem,” the deputy emphasized. In response to his remarks, an employee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education explained that since 2021, contracts at universities have not increased due to a moratorium imposed by the president. However, this year the term of the decree has expired, and universities have been forced to raise the cost of contracts, as 90% of educational institutions in the country are self-sustaining and need additional income to pay salaries and improve infrastructure.
