At the Batyraly Sydykov Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, a solemn ceremony was held to celebrate the results of the 2025 academic year. During this event, 74 outstanding students were awarded scholarships and cash prizes for their significant achievements in the fields of education, science, sports, and community service.
The university's rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor Abdilbaet Mamasidykov, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech, congratulating the students on their successes.
The rector noted the high aspirations of the youth for knowledge, as well as their active participation in creative and sports events, emphasizing that the university will always support students who contribute to its development.
During the event, the following awards were announced:
— 10 students who excelled in academics and community service were awarded an annual scholarship of 5,000 soms on behalf of the Batyraly Sydykov family;
— 64 students who distinguished themselves in science and sports received cash prizes of 2,000 soms from the university;
— Three students were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Youth Affairs Committee of the city of Osh.
Currently, about 15,000 students are enrolled at KUMU, and the university is actively working to support and encourage the achievements of its students.
The ceremony concluded with a New Year's concert event organized for the students.
