Her total experience in the educational field is 22 years.
“I was born in 1980. After graduating from school in 1997, I entered the Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynystanov in the Faculty of Arts. After receiving my diploma, I began my career at the children's educational center in the city of Karakol, and then transferred to the Ak-Suu district, where I continue to work. I lead a club on sculpture and souvenir creation,” Gulzat said.
She actively works with unwanted items, inspiring her students to be creative.
“I have three groups, and I teach about 50 children. In the process of work, we use paper, plastic bottles, and bags. Previously, we created various crafts, but with the onset of the quarantine in 2020, there were difficulties in purchasing the necessary materials. As a result, we started using things that are usually thrown away. This way, we reduce waste and apply them for creativity. Our works are exhibited at various events, and students often take prize places in competitions at the district, regional, and international levels,” Ilebayeva noted.
She added that her students always look forward to the lessons.
“Children with creative abilities and many ideas come to the classes. No one forces them to come; they eagerly await each lesson. And when the class ends, it is sometimes hard to send them home. The souvenirs they create mostly go as gifts to their relatives. Some of the girls who studied with me continued their education in the field of arts, and I am proud of their successes,” Gulzat shared.
Additionally, she noted that for her achievements in pedagogy, she has been awarded Honorary Certificates from local authorities and the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the badge "Excellence in Education."
