The regional news outlet Turmush continues to present the column "Жеңеке," where we share stories about the lives of young brides and experienced daughters-in-law.

Our goal is to highlight the value of family traditions and showcase the talents of married women. This time, the main character is Aijarkyn Timurlanova, who lives in the village of Kichi-Örüktü in the Issyk-Kul region.

Aijarkyn was born in 1999 in the village of Oi-Tal, located in the Tyup district. She shares: “I currently live in Kichi-Örüktü and married a man from a neighboring village. At the moment, I am on maternity leave, taking care of my father-in-law and mother-in-law.”

Her husband, Talant Orozaliev, is a graduate of the Muratala Kurunkeeva Conservatory, where he studied chamber singing. He currently manages the village club.

Aijarkyn graduated from the Bishkek State Architectural University with a degree in architect-designer. “I got married at 20. My husband and I are from nearby villages and have known each other since childhood. We communicated on social media and dated for five years while we were students. In August 2019, he proposed to me, giving me a red rose and a gold ring. Later, he sent matchmakers, and we got married on October 19, 2019, throwing a big celebration in the village. After getting married, there were many funny incidents. For example, once I oversalted the food so much that, embarrassed to admit it to my mother-in-law, I said it was his fault,” she recalls.

One of the most memorable moments in her life was the birth of her daughter: “When our girl was born, my husband was so afraid of dropping her that he had a hard time taking her from the doctor. He was immensely happy that we had a daughter. We were students, and we were brought home by taxi. My husband actively helped me recover after childbirth,” Aijarkyn shares.

She also talked about her hobbies and dreams. “In my free time, I work as a cook. While on maternity leave, I became interested in cooking. Over four years, I started going to tois (celebrations), charging 350 soms per person and creating video blogs. I try to spend more time with the children. My husband and I love going to the shores of Issyk-Kul to sing; he is very talented at it,” she noted.

In the future, Aijarkyn dreams of becoming a "Baatyra Ene" (Mother Heroine), being a caring wife, opening her own café, and becoming a chef,” she added.
