The head of the State Committee for National Security expressed his feelings about the terrible loss that has affected a family left without a mother.
“The whole country reacted with pain and outrage to the death of a mother of three children. As a man and a father, I find it important to emphasize: no words regarding ‘family conflicts,’ ‘alcohol,’ or ‘emotions’ can justify the taking of another person's life. The murder of a woman, especially a mother, cannot be called a domestic conflict,” he added.
Tashiev emphasized that the state is obligated to ensure the protection of women and children. “Anyone who raises a hand or uses a weapon against a woman must know: severe punishment will follow. The law in such cases will be relentless,” he stated.
An investigation is currently underway, and the guilty party will be punished in accordance with the law. This is our principled position—not for the sake of reporting, but for the sake of justice and the safety of citizens. I also express my sincere condolences to the children and relatives of the deceased. The state will always stand on the side of the victim, not violence,” Tashiev concluded.
