At the end of 2025, the president of the Kyrgyzstan Para-Judo Federation, Rayimbek Maatkabylo, held an award ceremony for athletes and their coaches.
He emphasized the significance of the work of the head coach of the national team, Kanat Imiyanov, in preparing athletes who have achieved international success.
“The coach was awarded a car in recognition of his professionalism, dedication to the cause, and high achievements,” the press release states.
Two athletes were awarded cash prizes: Aibiyke Ulanbek kyzy received 100,000 soms, while Ferdausa Ubarikova received 70,000 soms.
In 2025, Ulanbek kyzy won gold at the Asian Championship and at the Grand Prix stage in Brazil, as well as bronze medals at the World Championship and Grand Prix stages in Kazakhstan and Egypt.
Ubarikova, in turn, is proud of her gold at the Grand Prix in Kazakhstan, as well as her silver at the World Championship and Grand Prix in Egypt.
