The expanded squad of the youth football team of Kyrgyzstan for the Asian Cup (U-23) has been announced.
Edmar Lacerda, the head coach of the team, presented a list of 24 players. Of these, 23 footballers will be included in the final roster for the tournament.
Currently, the team is in the United Arab Emirates, where the final stage of preparation for the Asian Cup is taking place.
On December 23, the Kyrgyz team played a friendly match against their Chinese counterparts, which ended in a defeat with a score of 0:1. A rematch between the teams is scheduled for December 29.
The training camp in the UAE will conclude on January 2, 2026.
The final stage of the youth Asian Cup will begin on January 6 in Saudi Arabia. In the first round, the Kyrgyzstan team will face the tournament hosts at the stadium in Jeddah.
