The State Tax Service has successfully completed the approved plan for tax and payment collection ahead of schedule for the first time in the history of independent Kyrgyzstan, according to information from the agency's press service.
According to the established plan, it was expected to collect 268 billion 326.4 million soms in taxes by 2025. The tax service not only achieved this goal but also demonstrated positive growth dynamics, indicating the effectiveness of the reforms carried out.
Preliminary data suggests that by the end of 2025, the plan will be exceeded. The total amount of taxes and payments may exceed 300 billion soms.
From January to November 2025, the tax service collected 275 billion 742 million soms, which is 12 billion 271 million soms more than planned. Compared to the same period in 2024, revenues increased by 71 billion 881 million soms.
There is also an increase in the collection of insurance contributions. The total amount reached 74 billion 57 million soms, and the plan was exceeded by 1 billion 217 million soms. The figures compared to the 11 months of last year increased by 7 billion 680 million soms.
The total amount of revenues from taxes and insurance contributions for the 11 months of the current year amounted to 349.8 billion soms. It is important to note that this growth was achieved not through an increase in the tax burden, but through the expansion of the taxpayer base, digitalization of processes, and increased voluntary tax payments.
These results confirm the effectiveness of the reforms, the sustainable development of the country's tax system, and the growth of tax literacy among the population.
