Elon Musk became the first person in the world whose net worth exceeded $600 billion

According to Forbes, Elon Musk has become the first person whose net worth has exceeded $600 billion. This occurred after news of his startup SpaceX potentially going public with a valuation of $800 billion. The IPO is planned for next year.

According to Reuters, Musk, who reached the $500 billion mark in October, owns 42% of SpaceX shares. It is expected that the increase in the company's valuation will raise his net worth to $677 billion.

It is also worth noting that Musk's wealth has increased due to his approximately 12% stake in Tesla, the electric vehicle manufacturer. Tesla's shares have risen by 13% since the beginning of the year, despite a decline in sales. On December 15, they surged nearly 4% after Musk announced that the company is testing a driverless robotaxi with no one in the front seat.
In November, Tesla shareholders approved a grand compensation plan for Musk, which amounts to $1 trillion. This became the largest corporate payout package in history, as investors supported his ambitious vision of transforming Tesla into a leader in artificial intelligence and robotics.

Additionally, media reports indicate that his AI startup xAI is negotiating to raise $15 billion in new investments at a company valuation of $230 billion.
