The body of the second person who fell into the BChK was found in Bishkek


As a result of search and rescue operations in Bishkek, specifically in the Sverdlovsk district, the body of the second person who fell into the technical channel of the CHPP has been found, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Since December 31, 150 people have been involved in the operation, including 90 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A total of 55 workers from the Bishkek Emergency Situations Department, 18 rescuers from the City Rescue Service, 5 employees from the State Center for Rescuer Training, as well as 6 and 7 rescuers from Fire and Rescue Unit No. 27 of the Issyk-Ata district and Unit No. 1 of the Alamudun district of Chui region, respectively, are engaged in the search.

Also participating in the search are 30 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 30 workers from the city administration. In total, 150 people are involved in the operation.

The Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Boobek Azhikeev, is personally overseeing the progress of the rescue operations. Coordination of actions at the scene is carried out by Deputy Minister Ernest Jusupov.

For reference, on December 30, 2025, three citizens fell into the technical channel of the CHPP. The body of one of them has been found and handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while two individuals — J. J. born in 1963 and J. T. born in 1966 — are still listed as missing.
