In Bishkek, officers of the First Mai District Police Department detained a man suspected of fraud, as reported by the press service of the department.
The incident occurred on May 16, 2025, when a city resident named M.M. contacted the police. He reported that in September 2024, he handed over a Chevrolet Trailblazer to F.S., valued at 20,000 dollars, as payment for the construction of a bathhouse on his summer cottage. The cost of the work was estimated at 10,000 dollars, and the remaining 10,000 dollars was supposed to be returned to him in cash.
However, it turned out that the money was not returned, and F.S. did not fulfill his obligations.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
During operational activities, law enforcement officers identified and detained F.S., born in 1989. A preventive measure in the form of detention in the pre-trial detention center (SIZO-1) has been chosen for him.
At the moment, it is known that other similar fraud complaints have been received against F.S. The investigation is ongoing.
