According to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek, there has been an increase in the exchange rates of the euro, Russian ruble, and Kazakh tenge, while the dollar and Chinese yuan have become cheaper.
Exchange rate of the US dollar:
- The official rate of the NB KR is 87.4115 soms (a decrease of 0.02 percent).
- The average rate at exchange points: 87.21 soms for buying and 87.7 soms for selling.
Exchange rate of the euro:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 103.0057 soms (an increase of 0.05 percent), which is a new record for December.
- The average rate at exchange points: 102.23 soms for buying and 103.23 soms for selling.
Exchange rate of the Russian ruble:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 1.1247 soms (an increase of 0.45 percent).
- The average rate at exchange points: 1.097 soms for buying and 1.136 soms for selling.
Exchange rate of the Kazakh tenge:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 0.173 soms (an increase of 0.17 percent).
- The average rate at exchange points: 0.1454 soms for buying and 0.1823 soms for selling.
Exchange rate of the Chinese yuan:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 12.4743 soms (a decrease of 0.02 percent). The Chinese currency has once again set a record for annual value.
- The average rate at exchange points: 12.5 soms for buying and 13 soms for selling.
