The incidence of ARVI and influenza in Kyrgyzstan continues to decline

According to information provided by 24.kg, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza in Kyrgyzstan continues to decline, according to data from the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

From December 22 to 28, the republic registered 15,043 cases of ARVI and influenza. This is a 32.3 percent decrease compared to the previous week, when the number of cases was 22,200.

Among the infected, 72.8 percent are children under 14 years old.
Experts remind the population of the importance of adhering to preventive measures, strongly recommending avoiding crowded places and not self-medicating, but rather seeking medical attention at local clinics if symptoms are present.
