An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 has been recorded in Kyrgyzstan at the epicenter

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 has been registered in Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences.

According to the institute's data, the tremors occurred on December 26 at 22:17. The epicenter was located five kilometers northwest of the village of Egin-Jai, as well as 13 kilometers northwest of the village of Langar, 14 kilometers southwest of Karaganda, and 20 kilometers southwest of Kara-Otok.

In the village of Egin-Jai, the intensity of the tremors was 3.5 points, while in the villages of Langar, Karaganda, and Kara-Otok it was recorded at 3 points.

Additionally, the Institute of Seismology reported an earthquake that occurred last night in China at 1:44. Its epicenter was located 165 kilometers southeast of Naryn and 178 kilometers southwest of Karakol.

However, these underground tremors were not felt on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
