Nurzaman gained widespread recognition thanks to a video in which he, trudging through nearly a meter of snow, makes his way to school in the village of Koo-Chaty. This video caught the attention of the head of state, who then invited the boy to a New Year's event at the presidential office. On December 17, Nurzaman met with the president, who presented him with gifts and a mobile phone.
When Nurzaman returned home, he was greeted with joy by teachers, classmates, and villagers. Shouts of "Nurzaman is great!" filled the air! He has now become a symbol of perseverance and the pursuit of knowledge for the entire "Aydyn-Kol" school.
