
15.5 billion soms were allocated for their construction and repair
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, in 2025, 15.5 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget for the construction and major repair of socio-cultural facilities. This amount exceeds the corresponding figure for 2024 by 33.6%.
“In cooperation with local authorities, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture has completed the construction and repair of 291 social facilities. Additionally, work has been fully completed on 183 small facilities. This is 20.96% more than in 2024,” the ministry reported.
The most actively commissioned social facilities were in the Jalal-Abad region, where their number reached 80, in the Osh region — 63, in the Issyk-Kul region — 39, in the Chui region — 34, in the Batken region — 22, in the Naryn region — 21, as well as in Bishkek — 13 and Osh — 10. In the Talas region, 9 facilities were built.
Among the new facilities, 129 are schools, 60 are kindergartens, 26 are medical institutions, 27 are sports complexes, 8 are cultural institutions, 34 are other facilities, and 7 are "Taza-Suu" systems.
