- At the IV People's Kurultai, held on December 26, President Sadyr Japarov commented on the proposal from a delegate from the Aravan district regarding the construction of BSR and BDR.
He noted that in the last 2–3 years, directives have been issued, resulting in the construction of 106 BSR and BDR facilities across the country. "We analyzed the entire map and identified key locations for new facilities," the president added.
Japarov also reported that 11 facilities have been completed so far. "It is impossible to complete all the others within one year. It will take 4–5 years, and there will be no problems with water or drinking water," he noted.
According to the president, in the past, the construction of BSR and BDR was virtually non-existent, with facilities primarily built during the Soviet period being used.
"Currently, 11 facilities have already been completed, another ten are under construction. The others will also be built, but it will take some time," he concluded.
