“Our intention is to completely close the debt by 2035. Over the past three decades, the amount of debt has only increased,” he noted.
According to the president, the planned repayments by year are as follows:
• 2022 — $392 million,
• 2023 — $595 million,
• 2024 — $688 million,
• 2025 — $857 million,
• 2026 — $1 billion 47 million,
• 2027 — $1 billion 277 million,
• 2028 — $1 billion 326 million,
• 2029 — $1 billion 201 million.
“Thus, by 2035 we will be able to complete the debt repayment process,” Japarov concluded.
