
During the IV People's Kurultai, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, shared with the delegates plans to reduce the external state debt.
According to the president, the country's external debt, which has accumulated over the past three decades, will be fully repaid by 2035.
He also presented a detailed repayment schedule, which is as follows:
- 2022 — 392 million USD;
- 2023 — 595 million USD;
- 2024 — 688 million USD;
- 2025 — 857 million USD;
- 2026 — 1 billion 47 million USD;
- 2027 — 1 billion 277 million USD;
- 2028 — 1 billion 326 million USD;
- 2029 — 1 billion 326 million USD;
- 2030 — 1 billion 201 million USD.
“We are confident that we will be able to complete the debt repayment by the established deadline,” added Sadyr Japarov.
