According to Kasymaliev, tourism in Kyrgyzstan is showing rapid development and is becoming an important sector of the economy.

As part of an ambitious investment project, the construction of the "Ala-Tuu Resort" ski cluster has begun, which will operate year-round. This project, located in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, covers three zones: Jyrgalang, Ak-Bulak, and Boz-Uchuk, with a total area of 3,916 hectares.

Special attention is being paid to the development of the Issyk-Kul region and the city of Cholpon-Ata. The entire tourism sector, including sanatoriums, boarding houses, hotels, and beaches, is gradually adapting to modern standards, which contributes to improving service quality.

Kasymaliev noted that Kyrgyzstan's international reputation as a tourist destination is significantly strengthening. In 2025, the country was included in the list of the 50 best vacation spots in the world according to the Financial Times. Additionally, The Guardian recognized Kyrgyzstan as one of the best destinations for ethnic tourism.

Significant steps have also been taken in the field of culture: major repairs have been carried out on the buildings of cultural institutions, and their material and technical base has been improved. A budget of 990 million soms has been allocated for the construction of a new building for the Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev, and 750 million soms for the M. Kurankeev Music College.

There are also plans to build a philharmonic hall for 3,200 seats and a modern museum in the city of Manas. Similar initiatives for the development of cultural infrastructure are being implemented across the country.

An important event was the inclusion of the Kyrgyz national drink maksym in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage on December 10, 2025.

To further promote sports, a State Agency for Sports was established in 2025. This year, the salaries of coaches were increased by 30%. Budget expenditures on sports have also significantly increased: from 800 million soms in 2020 to 2.2 billion soms in 2024 and 2.5 billion soms in 2025.

The country is actively updating its sports infrastructure: in 2025, the reconstruction of the Small Sports Arena in Bishkek for 5,000 seats was completed, and a sports palace for 5,200 seats was built in the city of Manas with a budget of 1 billion soms.

The construction of the "Bishkek Arena" stadium for 51,000 seats, meeting FIFA standards, is also actively ongoing. New gyms and stadiums are being opened in various regions of the country, contributing to the creation of accessible sports infrastructure for the general public.
