As part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev and the anniversary exhibition "Museale-90," composer and pianist Munara Korpotaeva presented her new musical work titled Gapar.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, at the creative evening held on December 11, the pianist performed a piece inspired by various forms of art, including painting, sculpture, and mosaic.

The title of the composition refers to the famous artist Gapar Aitiev, after whom the museum is named. The main musical theme was created based on the notes G–A–A–D, which were derived from the letters of his name, and this melody runs throughout the piece, developing as a key motif.

To date, the composition Gapar can be heard in a special tactile space of the museum, where exhibits are placed for interaction. This creates a unique experience for visitors to perceive art, incorporating not only visual and tactile but also auditory elements.

Munara Korpotaeva is a graduate of the National Conservatory named after Kalyi Moldobasov, specializing in "Special Piano" and "Composition." She was awarded the III prize at the XXXIII International Festival-Competition Musica Classica. Korpotaeva actively participates in cultural events at the museum, conducting musical sessions and performing both classical and original works, including as part of the international event "Night of Museums," which will take place in 2024.
