Cholponbay Akmatov, representing the Jalal-Abad region, proposed the launch of a pilot project in the Chatkal district, which will focus on the development of mountainous areas, the implementation of "green" economy principles, and climate financing.
In his address, he urged President Sadyr Japarov to sign a relevant decree to implement these initiatives.
According to Akmatov, the Chatkal district occupies a strategically important position in the mountainous part of the country. He noted that discussions were held in December with representatives of international organizations and government structures, where key approaches to this issue were identified.
The delegate emphasized the importance of considering the geographical features of the district and the president's strategy for the development of mountainous areas. He also proposed developing a model that could be adapted and applied in other regions of the country.
