Tax collection figures reached a historic high - Head of the State Tax Service
According to Shykmamatov, the tax and insurance contributions plan for 2025 amounted to 343 billion soms, while actual revenues reached 389 billion soms. This means the plan was fulfilled at a level of 113.6 percent.
Compared to the previous year, the amount of revenues increased by 87.5 billion soms, with a growth rate of 28.9 percent.
The head of the Tax Service emphasized that the achieved results have become a historical maximum for the country.
He also announced the Tax Service's intention to achieve even higher indicators next year. All necessary resources are available for this: experience, potential, as well as new rules, mechanisms, digitalization, and modern working methods that will be implemented in 2026.
The Tax Service has identified key tasks for the next year, including combating the shadow economy and reducing tax arrears. These measures will help increase revenues to the state budget.
“As part of the overall economic strategy, support for small and medium-sized enterprises will continue, their number will increase, the tax base will expand, and both domestic and foreign investments will be attracted. The president will also provide additional support next year, relevant decrees will be adopted, and changes will be made to legislation, creating conditions for the development of startups and modern businesses, so that Kyrgyzstan becomes a country with a favorable environment for their growth,” noted Almambet Shykmamatov.
In addition, a presentation of the new electronic accounting system Kezet is expected in January, which will allow for contactless desk audits and analytical work. All checks will be available online.
