Trade has brought the most taxes to the budget in the 11 months of 2025

The mining sector took second place in tax payments


During the 11 months of 2025, significant sectors of the economy made a substantial contribution to the formation of the state budget.

Analysis of the revenue structure shows a number of stable trends among the leading sectors. In 2025, the share of tax revenues from the mining sector amounted to 20.6%, while trade provided 31%, financial services – 4.7%, construction – 5.6%, telecommunications – 2.3%, electricity – 2%, education – 1.5%, and the production of alcoholic beverages – 1.7%.

In absolute terms, from January to November 2025, tax revenues from the mining sector reached 56.7 billion soms, which is 18.7 billion more than in the same period of 2024. Trade generated revenues of 84.6 billion soms, increasing by 20.4 billion compared to last year. In construction, the revenue amounted to 15.5 billion soms, which is 6.3 billion higher than last year's result. Small and medium-sized enterprises also showed growth, providing 23.7 billion soms, which is equivalent to 8.6% of the total tax revenue, and is 10.1 billion more than the previous year.

As a result of the 11 months of 2025, the Tax Service successfully fulfilled the tax collection plan, having collected 275 billion 742 million soms, which was achieved ahead of schedule.

These results serve as evidence of sustainable economic growth and a consistent tax policy.
