The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has presented information on which sectors of the economy play a key role in forming the state budget.
According to tax experts, over the 11 months of 2025, significant sectors contributed substantial amounts to tax revenues:
Trade — 31% of the total volume (84.6 billion soms)
Mining sector — 20.6% of tax revenues (56.7 billion soms)
Construction — 8% (15.5 billion soms)
Financial services — 4.7% (12.8 billion soms)
Communications — 2.3% (6.4 billion soms)
Energy — 2% (5.1 billion soms)
Alcohol production — 1.7% (4.6 billion soms)
Education — 1.5% (4.1 billion soms)
Small and medium-sized businesses added 23.7 billion soms, accounting for 8.6% of total tax revenues, increasing their contributions by 10.1 billion soms compared to the previous year.
