The Minister of Education, Dokturgul Kendirbaeva, emphasized on the air of "Birinchi Radio" that specialists trained with state scholarships and tax revenues are obligated to return and work in Kyrgyzstan.

She noted that the ministry is actively striving to attract young and proactive specialists to the field of education; however, some of those who received education funded by the state do not return to their homeland.

“We expected the return of personnel trained at the state's expense, but many of them never came back. This is a matter of conscience and responsibility to the country. I will not name names; they understand everything themselves,” Kendirbaeva added.

Furthermore, the minister reported that teachers working abroad were offered high positions in Kyrgyzstan, but many of them declined due to insufficient salary levels.

Kendirbaeva also emphasized that various support measures, including social mortgages and a planned increase in salaries, are provided for those specialists who are ready to work in the country.

She reminded that starting from 2024, a doubling of teachers' salaries is planned.

“This is significant support, but also a great responsibility. Increasing salaries is a serious and decisive step for the budget,” the minister noted.
