In Mongolia, teachers' salaries will be raised by 50%

Starting January 1, 2026, the base salary of teachers and school staff will be increased by 50 percent.

This was reported in materials presented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Mongolia, as informed by MiddleAsianNews.

At the last government meeting held at the State Palace, a decision was made regarding the salaries of public servants in the fields of science, healthcare, and education.

The new decree provides for an increase in the base salary of teachers and staff by 50%, starting January 1, 2026. This increase will also affect employees working in public educational institutions.

It is important to note that more than 93,500 teachers and staff work in the country's education system.
