In Stepnogorsk, located in Kazakhstan, the snow compositions set up in the "Fairy Town" became the subject of active discussion on social media. Local residents mocked the appearance of these snow structures and shared their opinions, as reported by Tengrinews.kz.
Social media users were also curious about how much money was spent on the New Year decorations, asking the question: "Did it really cost 11 million tenge?"

In response, representatives of the akimat stated that not a single tenge was allocated from the city budget for the creation of these sculptures. Nevertheless, in light of the negative reaction to the small architectural forms, a decision was made to dismantle them. In conclusion, officials apologized to the residents of the city for the inconvenience caused.
