The Lenin District Court of St. Petersburg has opened a case regarding an administrative offense against Ekaterina Bivol.

According to information provided by the unified press service of the city's courts, the woman is accused under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, which pertains to "Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliating human dignity."

The ruling states that on November 5, an employee of the Center "E" of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region discovered a video on a Telegram channel during social media monitoring, in which Bivol makes harsh statements against Kyrgyz and Kazakh people.

“Her statements contain negative assessments regarding a group of people united by national, linguistic, and ethnic characteristics, specifically Kyrgyz and Kazakh people. These assessments are expressed in the form of insults and obscene language. The video claims superiority of one group over another based on genetic characteristics,” the document states.

The hearing for the case against the Russian woman is scheduled for January 29, 2026.

If found guilty, Bivol may face a fine ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 rubles, mandatory work for up to one hundred hours, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

Additionally, criminal cases have also been initiated against Bivol in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, and she has been placed on the wanted list.

Ekaterina Bivol is the ex-wife of Dmitry Bivol, a world boxing champion and native of Tokmok, and she has often expressed negative opinions about him on her social media.
