US Dollar:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 87.425 soms (decrease of 0.03 percent). This is the first change in two months.
- Average rate in exchange offices: purchase - 87.19 soms, sale - 87.65 soms.
Euro:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 102.9561 soms (decrease of 0.1 percent). This is a new record for the value of the European currency in December.
- Average rate in exchange points: purchase - 102.26 soms, sale - 103.23 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 1.1197 soms (increase of 0.45 percent).
- Average rate in exchange offices: purchase - 1.108 soms, sale - 1.136 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 0.1727 soms (increase of 1.41 percent).
- Average rate in exchange points: purchase - 0.1551 soms, sale - 0.1812 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 12.4768 soms (decrease of 0.04 percent). Over the year, the Chinese currency has reached a new record in value.
- Average rate in exchange offices: purchase - 12.5 soms, sale - 13 soms.
