In 2025, there was a significant increase in the volume of printed educational and methodological complexes, setting a record for recent years. This information was provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
For the printing of textbooks this year, 856,548,703 soms were allocated from the budget. Since 2017, the country has produced 3,742,461 textbooks, and in 2025 this figure reached 4,085,450 educational and methodological complexes, which is 9.1% higher than the results of the previous eight years.
Textbooks are created according to a clear plan for updating materials across all subjects, which is implemented within the framework of the Concept for the Transition to 12-Year School Education. This concept was approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 654 dated October 30, 2024.
