The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has published the results of its work for the third quarter of 2025. During this period, more than 800 children left without parental care were placed in families. Of these, 492 children were taken into guardianship, 370 children were adopted under the national program, and 2 infants found their parents abroad.
All families that took in children undergo mandatory registration and are under constant supervision by guardianship authorities to ensure proper care, upbringing, and protection of the rights of these children.
It is important to note that the process of adoption and placement of children under guardianship is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the rules concerning the transfer of children to both citizens of the country and foreigners. These efforts aim to create a safe and supportive environment for children left without parental care, as well as to strengthen the system of family placement in the country.
