Starting from February 1, 2026, freight transportation tariffs by railway in Kyrgyzstan will increase by 9%. This decision was made by the State Enterprise "NC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" with the support of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As clarified by the State Enterprise, this increase is related to the order issued by the ministry on December 5, 2025.
According to the new tariff plan, throughout 2026, a tariff policy will be in effect on Kyrgyz railways, coordinated with the railways of the CIS countries for international freight transportation.
At the same time, previously approved tariffs for freight transportation in export, import, transit, and domestic communications, according to the order of the Ministry of Transport dated December 17, 2024, will remain in effect until January 31, 2026, inclusive.
Thus, the new tariffs will come into effect on February 1, 2026.
