The purpose of this competition was to identify and reward outstanding export-oriented companies, as well as to promote Kyrgyz products in international markets.
Welcoming speeches at the event were delivered by Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Urmat Takirov, Director of "Kyrgyz Export."
Partners participating in the competition included the UN Development Program's trade facilitation project and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as well as representatives from international organizations and financial institutions.
A total of 78 applications were submitted for the competition, and based on their review, the jury identified the best exporters in ten nominations.
Thirty winners who took prize places in their categories received certificates granting them the right to:
• implement international quality standards;
• training under the Mini-MBA program;
• free participation in international exhibitions;
• as well as a trip to Silicon Valley (USA).
The event was supported by the UN Development Program project, EBRD, the High Technology Park, and organizations such as the State Insurance Organization, JSC "Eldik Bank," and CJSC "Alfa Telecom" (MegaCom).
As a result of the competition, winning companies were determined in the following nominations:
• In the category "Best Exporter of Food Processing," the winner was LLC "Kulikovsky Confectionery House";
• Best Exporter of Agricultural Products - LLC "Dan Agro Products";
• In the nomination "Best Exporter of Textile and Garment Production," the winner was LLC "Kool Group";
• Best Exporter of Industrial Products - LLC "Kant TSH";
• In the field of services and IT, the best was LLC "Med Devs";
• The award for implementing international standards was given to LLC "Kyrgyzcenterproduct";
• The "Breakthrough of the Year" award went to LLC "Agro Industry";
• Best Exporter of Small and Medium Enterprises - LLC "Dary Tian-Shanya";
• In the category "Best Regional Exporter," the winner was LLC "Talas-Diykan";
• In the nomination "Woman Exporter," the award was presented to LLC "RAIMA."
