According to the new decision, the functions of the authorized body responsible for direct interaction within the framework of international legal assistance are now assigned to the service of judicial executors under the General Prosecutor's Office, whereas these duties were previously performed by the judicial department of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic.
These changes are aimed at fulfilling the country's international obligations and are being implemented in accordance with a presidential decree signed on June 23, 2025, which is focused on improving the system of enforcement of judicial decisions and the work of judicial executors.
The new version of the resolution will come into effect seven days after its official publication.
