Every year, the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" organizes a competition for the best festive decoration of buses in anticipation of the New Year. This is reported by 24.kg citing information from the municipal enterprise.
In this competition, buses from various routes participate, and drivers strive to decorate their interiors with special creativity and attention to detail.
The winner is determined on the last day of December — it is the driver who decorates the bus in the most original way.
As clarified by the enterprise, all decorations — garlands, toys, Christmas trees, and tinsel — are purchased by the drivers at their own expense. Their motivation lies not only in the desire to win the competition but also in the effort to create a festive atmosphere for passengers, whether they are local residents or guests of the capital.
