At OJSC "Kyrgyz Post," a solemn ceremony was held to award the winners of the letter contest dedicated to Santa Claus. This event gathered over three thousand participants — schoolchildren aged 9 to 14, who wrote on the topic: "The country of my dreams. Why do I want to visit it?" Letters were accepted through post offices across the country.

The awards for the winners included valuable prizes such as tablets and mobile phones, as well as consolation gifts, including headphones and smartwatches.

Uulzhan Masiyaanova, the Deputy General Director of OJSC "Kyrgyz Post," reported that the contest, announced in November, ran until mid-December and included qualifying stages. Despite the large number of letters received, some were plagiarized from the internet. However, the commission paid attention to children who wrote their works independently and revealed the theme of the contest.

Dilnura Sharshenbekova, one of the participants, shared that she learned about the contest from her Russian language teacher just a day before sending the letters, so she had to do everything on her own.

"The teacher inspired us and explained the essence. I wrote about Malaysia, sharing my dreams of studying there and choosing a profession in the field of tourism or hospitality," she noted.

Ayana Ismailova, another participant, learned about the contest from her Russian and Kyrgyz language teachers. She aimed to express her creativity and ensure that her essay about Japan, which she admires for its beauty and culture, was sincere and fluid.

Ayana expressed her desire to show her family Japan in the future and introduce them to its culture and cuisine.

The contest is aimed at developing children's creative abilities, popularizing the genre of letter writing, and promoting postal culture.
