Starting January 1, 2026, construction of pedestrian crossings and bus stop complexes will begin on Ch. Aitmatov Avenue in Bishkek. As a result, part of the avenue will be closed to traffic. This information is provided by the city administration.
The decision to start the work was made at the direction of the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, taking into account the upcoming New Year holidays.
Drivers are strongly advised to choose alternative routes in advance and to pay close attention to road signs and temporary indicators.
