A commemorative event dedicated to the 124th anniversary of Jussup Abdrakhmanov, an important statesman, took place at the Alley of Founders of Kyrgyz Statehood. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.
Among the participants were State Secretary Arslan Koychiev, Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, as well as historians, representatives of the authorities and society, and students.
Koychiev emphasized the importance of passing on the ideas and principles of serving the people, which Abdrakhmanov advocated, from one generation to another.
The Minister of Culture noted that for Abdrakhmanov, public service was an expression of high responsibility towards the people, and his life path serves as an example for contemporary and future public servants.
In anticipation of the 125th anniversary of Jussup Abdrakhmanov, the creation of an artistic film "Jussup" and a historical series "Kara Kyrgyz" is planned. In addition, a course "Introduction to Abdrakhmanov" has been established at the Academy of Public Administration under the President.
During the event, a floral garland was also laid at the monument of Jussup Abdrakhmanov.
