During the meeting, reprimands were issued to several officials. The minister noted that this project is under the personal control of the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev. In addition, Minister Syrgabaev raised the issue of the condition of roads during the winter period and the need for monitoring their state, urging leaders who are not fulfilling their duties to submit resignation letters.

On December 27, 2025, during a working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Security Committee, held a meeting regarding the construction of the Balykchy—Barskoon—Karakoil road. He expressed dissatisfaction that the reconstruction of the 141-kilometer road, which began in 2021, has still not been completed.
On the same day, Tashiev ordered the detention of the founder of LLC "Kyrgyz Zhol Kurolysh" Mirlan Isagaliev for violating the deadlines for the construction of the Balykchy—Bokonbaev—Karakoil road, which has been ongoing for five years.
