The detention took place as part of an investigation related to suspicions of abuse of official powers during the construction of the Balykchy—Bokonbaev—Karako lroad.
According to the investigation, the contractor violated the terms of the contract, causing delays and non-compliance with technical standards, which affected the timeline for completing the road construction of national significance.
In the case of abuse of power, a citizen with the initials M. I. from this commercial organization was also detained, as reported by the agency.
Isagaliev is currently in the temporary detention facility of the city department of internal affairs in Karakol, and investigative actions are ongoing.
It should be noted that earlier the chairman of the SCNS, Kamchybek Tashiev, criticized the prolonged repairs of the 141-kilometer section of the road, which started in 2021 and has not yet been completed. Strict warnings were issued to responsible individuals and contractors. Additionally, he ordered the arrest of Mirlаn Isagaliev for the untimely execution of work on the repair of the Balykchy—Bokonbaev—Karako lroad.
