Today, a drill inspection took place in the Osh garrison, timed to coincide with the New Year celebrations. This was reported by the press service of the president's representative in the region.
Among the participants of the event were the authorized representative of the president in the Osh region, Amankan Kenjebaev, the mayor of the city of Osh, Jengishbek Toktorbaev, the deputy minister of internal affairs, Erkebek Ashirkhodzhaev, the head of the Osh region's internal affairs department, Nurlanbek Burkanov, as well as other leaders of law enforcement agencies and personnel.
According to the agency, during the inspection, a check was conducted on the service uniforms, technical equipment, and readiness to perform tasks during the holiday period. Instructions were also given on ensuring public order and road safety, as well as crime prevention.
The head of the region emphasized that during the New Year holidays, the police will operate in an enhanced mode, urging citizens to comply with the laws and pay attention to safety measures.
“More than 1000 employees will ensure public safety in the region during the New Year holidays. The police will be on duty around the clock, guaranteeing the peace and safety of citizens,” the press service added.
