Ulan Niyazbekov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, voiced the department's firm position regarding offenses committed by police officers.

As the minister noted, the Ministry of Internal Affairs demonstrates consistency and strictness in responding to any violations related to the law and service discipline, regardless of the rank or length of service of internal affairs personnel. Each case of unlawful behavior is subject to thorough legal assessment.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that serious measures may be taken based on the results of service checks and investigations, including dismissal and prosecution in accordance with the law. He added that anyone who breaks the law cannot represent state authority or wear a uniform.

Ulan Niyazbekov paid special attention to the issue of domestic violence, expressing that any forms of aggression are unacceptable and cannot be justified by conflicts, emotional states, or personal relationships.

The minister assured that every case of domestic violence will be promptly responded to by the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is committed to protecting victims and swiftly holding perpetrators accountable, emphasizing that there can be no compromises on this issue.

According to Ulan Niyazbekov, the department will focus on preventive work, monitoring the actions of its employees, and increasing the personal responsibility of leaders at all levels. He noted that public trust in the police is built not on statements but through real actions and unwavering punishment.
