On December 27, at the opening of a new district office of the GKNB in the Issyk-Kul region, he raised the issue of the tragic death of the 47-year-old woman.
Tashiev emphasized that the responsibility for preventing violence against women lies with all law enforcement and security agencies, expressing criticism regarding the insufficient attention to the safety of the murdered woman.
“The death of the mother of three children occurred due to the negligence of law enforcement, prosecutor's office, and security service employees. Urustemova had a protection order, but no measures were taken. We will thoroughly investigate this case and hold accountable those who failed to fulfill their duties. If similar cases occur again, they will lead to responsibility for local authorities, the police, the GKNB, and the prosecutor's office! Instead of inaction in offices, preventive measures should be taken, areas should be patrolled, and violence against women and children should be prevented!” — Tashiev stated.
The 47-year-old resident of Bishkek was killed on December 23 — on her birthday. According to preliminary data, the tragedy occurred against the backdrop of a divorce process. The murder was committed by her ex-husband, former inspector of the State Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs U.B.M., born in 1977, who shot her with a traumatic pistol.
This crime has caused a wide public outcry, and the investigation is now being conducted by the GKNB.
After the tragedy, three sons were left without their mother, two of whom are studying in the 2nd and 3rd grades.
