On December 27, 2025, a significant event took place in the Issyk-Kul region — the opening of the new building of the Ak-Suu District Department of the State National Security Committee. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as the presidential representative in the region, B. Zhetigenov, and veterans of the GKNB. The new building is located on a plot of land measuring 18 acres, with a total area of 240 square meters. Construction work began on June 1, 2025, and was completed by December of the same year. The two-story building was constructed using modern and environmentally friendly materials.
