The Ministry of Nature has responded to a statement by a deputy claiming that the landfill in the village of Belovodskoye in the Moscow district of the Chui region is in a state of continuous burning.

During a joint meeting of several committees of the Jogorku Kenesh on December 23, Deputy Gulzhan Satieva (district No. 18) raised the issue of continuous burning at the landfill and urged the relevant authorities to pay attention to this problem and find a solution.
At the direction of Minister Meder Mashiev, inspectors from the Ecological Supervision Service conducted an inspection of the landfill for possible fires.
“During the inspection, explanatory measures were carried out. Efforts in this direction will continue to be strengthened,” the statement said.
