In the run-up to the New Year holidays, more than a thousand police officers and employees of the Road Traffic Safety Department (UOBDD) are working in an enhanced mode in the Jalal-Abad region.
Since December 23 of this year, according to the data from the regional Internal Affairs Department, raids aimed at maintaining public order have been conducted in the region. In the first three days of such events, 1,289 violations of traffic rules were recorded. Of these, 301 cases were related to speeding, and 57 drivers were operating vehicles without the necessary documents.
Additionally, 42 drivers were stopped while under the influence of alcohol, and 119 vehicles were placed in specialized impound lots. In connection with the upcoming holiday events, inspections will continue in the coming days in an even stricter mode," the release states.
