Temporary restrictions on the highway have been introduced due to snowfall
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, temporary restrictions for heavy vehicles have been established at the Too-Ashuu pass on the Bishkek—Osh highway from the "Sosnovka" post.
These measures are due to the worsening weather conditions, particularly heavy snowfall. To enhance road safety, the staff of Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 9 are conducting work to clear the roadway and treat the road with inert materials.
The Ministry urges drivers to be attentive and to follow safety precautions in mountainous areas and passes. It is recommended to replace summer tires with winter ones in advance and to have the necessary equipment for trips in difficult weather conditions.
